Who pays me
You do. That is the whole list.
I take no lender commissions, no CDC referral fees, and no packaging fees. I do not sell leads. I am not paid when your loan closes, and I am not paid if it doesn't.
I say this plainly because it explains how this site is written, not because anyone else is doing something wrong. Lenders, CDCs, brokers and business development officers do necessary work, and the 7(a) and 504 programs have put more capital into American small businesses than any private facility ever has. I financed a $2.6 million project with one. I would tell you to take the loan.
What I am not able to do is tell you whether it is the right loan for you and also get paid when you take it. Those two jobs pull in different directions, and rather than manage that tension I have removed it. It means the tools here can tell you your number is short, and the guides can tell you to wait a quarter, because neither costs me anything.
Your numbers stay yours. Every tool on this site runs in your browser. Nothing you type is transmitted, stored, or seen by me. Close the tab and it is gone.
The affiliate exception, stated plainly. The Toolkit page carries affiliate links to software I actually used, marked with a diamond. If you buy through one, the company may pay me. No lender, CDC, or loan product appears there, and nothing in the paid tools recommends a company that pays me.
What I sell. One thing: access to the method I used, rebuilt as tools. If it does not help, write to me within thirty days and I will refund it.
