Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what White Collar Black Ink collects when you visit diliawood.com, use the Loan Readiness Check, sign up for a free download, subscribe to the newsletter, or purchase access to The Loan-Ready Kit, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Information you give us. Your name and email address when you sign up for a free download, subscribe to the newsletter, or buy access. Any message you send us.
The Loan Readiness Check. The answers you enter are processed in your browser to produce your result. They are not transmitted to us and we do not store them. If you choose to give your email address after seeing your result, we receive only the email address, not your answers.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects and stores your card details directly. We never see or store your full card number. We receive a record of the transaction: amount, date, last four digits, and billing email.
Information collected automatically. Standard server and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed. Our publishing platform sets cookies that keep you signed in and remember preferences.
Email engagement. Whether an email was delivered, opened, or clicked.
Why we collect it
- To deliver the specific thing you asked for
- To send the newsletter and occasional offers for paid products, which you can stop at any time
- To provide, bill for, and support paid access
- To operate, secure, and improve the site
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising. We do not rent, trade, or give your email address to other publishers or advertisers.
Who processes data for us
We use a small number of service providers who process data only to provide services to us: our publishing and membership platform, our email delivery provider, and Stripe for payments.
How long we keep it
Subscriber and customer records are kept while your account or access is active. After that we keep transaction records for seven years for tax and accounting purposes, and other records for up to two years, unless a longer period is required to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation. If you unsubscribe we keep a suppression record so we do not email you again by mistake. You can ask us to delete your account entirely.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link at the bottom of any email, or by writing to us. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, request a portable copy, opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and appeal a decision we make about such a request.
To exercise any of these, email us with the subject line "Privacy request". We will acknowledge within 10 days and respond within 45 days, and we will tell you if we need longer. We will not discriminate against you for making a request. If we decline, you may reply to that email to appeal, and a decision on the appeal will be sent within 45 days. You may also contact your state attorney general.
California notice at collection
The categories of personal information we collect are identifiers (name, email address, IP address), commercial information (purchase records), and internet activity (pages viewed, email engagement). We collect them for the purposes listed above. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. Retention is as described above.
Do Not Track and universal opt out signals
There is no common standard for how sites must respond to a Do Not Track browser signal. We do not track visitors across third party websites for advertising, so our behavior is the same whether or not the signal is present. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing for a universal opt out signal such as Global Privacy Control to opt out of.
Where we operate
This site is operated from the United States and our products are sold to buyers in the United States only. If you access the site from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and your information will be processed in the United States.
Children
This site is meant for adults doing business. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Security and breach notification
We use reputable providers and industry standard safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
Business changes
If this publication is ever sold, merged, or transferred, subscriber and customer records may transfer with it. You will be told before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced by email or a notice on the site.
